Holiday Cheer Spotlight: Reno Events to Get You Into the Spirit

While Santa is busy making lists and checking them twice, the Biggest Little City is turning the town into a winter wonderland! If sugarplum fairies are already dancing in your head, there are a variety of holiday events in Reno to check out.

Santa’s Christmas Wonderland | November 26 – December 29
Visit Eldorado Resort Casino at THE ROW and be amazed by the sparkling costumes and high-kicking dancers that dazzle in this awe-inspiring holiday show.

A Christmas Story – The Musical | November 29-December 1
While the movie is a classic, the live musical is on a whole other level. Visit the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts to see what we mean. It’s a Reno holiday event you won’t want to miss.

Crafts for Christmas | November 29-December 1
If you’re looking for a few unique gifts to give this year, check out the more than 100 craft and gift vendors at the Nugget Resort Casino.

Winter Dreams | December 6-22
No matter what you’re looking for in a performance, Winter Dreams has it all. This winter-inspired circus has magic, aerial dance, acrobats, and more. It’s all happening at Sierra Marketplace on Virginia and Moana.

39 North Pole Village | December 12-14
Holiday lights, photo ops with Santa, and The Griswold Challenge make this event a must-visit for any family. Be sure to stop by downtown Sparks during the middle of December.

Reno Santa Pub Crawl | December 14
Come in your best Santa costume or dress to impress in anything that reminds you of Christmas and take to the streets to drink and dance with other visitors and residents of the city.

AVA Ballet Theatre presents The Nutcracker | December 13-15
Watch the stage come to life in this beautiful production of the beloved holiday classic. It isn’t quite Christmastime without a few dancing mice gliding around the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts!

Holiday Dreams – Spectacular Holiday Cirque | December 19 – January 1
Watch as performers come together in a beautiful show full of holographic effects and world-class acrobats at Grand Sierra Resort.
