Super Bowl Sunday is here! The Cincinnati Bengals are playing the Los Angeles Rams in the 56th Super Bowl on Sunday, February 13th. The game takes place at the Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium and starts at 5:30 PT. Here are some places to check out for the best game-day specials in Reno.

Where To Watch Super Bowl LVI in Reno

Eldorado Showroom has packages starting at $30 for a beverage, stadium food, and a souvenir hat.
Eldorado’s NoVi Lounge has tickets for $75 for a game-day buffet spread, top-shelf premium bar, and a souvenir hat.
Circus Circus’ Mandalay Ballroom has tickets starting at $60 for a buffet of stadium-themed food, two drinks, and a souvenir hat.
Silver Legacy’s Laugh Factory Comedy Club starts at $30 for a beverage, choice of a stadium food item, and a souvenir hat.
Silver Legacy’s Caesar Race & Sportsbook’s tickets start at $25 for two beverages.
Peppermill Tuscany Ballroom is hosting the Big Game Blitz LVI Party. An assigned seat is $80, or a table for ten people for $750. Admission includes an all-you-can-eat stadium food buffet, commemorative gift, beer at every table, door prizes at every quarter, and more!
Atlantis has the Ballroom and the Sports Book available for viewers. Tickets to the ballroom include an all-you-can-eat tailgate buffet and draft beer, giveaways, and more. The Sports Books will have special bets and stadium food and beer specials throughout the game.

Selling a Home in a Seller’s Market

In a seller’s market, there are more buyers shopping for homes than homes for sale. This generally means that sellers have more negotiating power and can receive the best offer possible. As you might have guessed, it’s best to sell your home when inventory is low and eager buyers are driving prices up, but there are also some things you’ll want to prepare for.

Selling Your Home Quickly

In a seller’s market, the home selling process can move extremely quickly, especially if your home is well-priced. Because of the increased competition, buyers want to move quickly to put in an offer on the homes they like. Waiting to put in an offer could mean that the home they love is snatched up by another buyer, so they make decisions about homes quickly.

Multiple Offers are Possible

The strong competition amongst home buyers means that if multiple buyers are looking at homes in your area, you may receive multiple offers. Multiple offers can drive up the sale price of your home as well as concessions from the buyer that meet your needs and goals, like an extended move-out period.

Issues with Appraisals

In a hot seller’s market, appraisers may not be able to complete an appraisal that properly represents what your home is worth in the current market. Appraisers might be comparing your property to properties sold a year ago or more — sales which will likely be for a lot less than your current offer. If a property doesn’t appraise for the offer price, the buyer will have a lot of difficulty getting a loan for the current offer price. You might be forced to lower your sales price or seek out buyers who are paying cash and do not need the approval of an appraiser to complete the deal.

Closing Delays

Often in a strong market, a buyer may try to expedite the loan process. Promising things the lender cannot deliver due to other factors such as appraisal delays, three-day TRID rule, survey delays, and delays getting title work back. Be patient and understand the buyer wants to close on your house as quickly as possible but is usually at the mercy of the loan and title company.

Fall is coming to a close, and winter is breezing in, so Farmer Markets are closing down soon. Local vendors get together to sell items ranging from produce to handmade crafts and more. Here’s why you should shop at farmers markets and where to find these fresh treasure troves in and around Reno!

4 Reasons to Shop At Your Local Farmers Market

Local food is better for the environment.
Compared to giant conglomerates, local food is, well, local, so it travels a shorter distance. Because of the lack of distance, there are fewer greenhouse gas emissions from truck exhaust or jet fuel.
Farmers market produce tastes better.
Local food comes right off the vine and straight to your market. Can’t get much fresher than that! Compared to conventional grocery stores, the produce would have to travel further, so they have to pick the fruit before it’s mature so it can be mature when it arrives at the store. This means the produce did not reach its full potential for flavor or nutrients. Because of this, sometimes produce that has to travel far is usually genetically modified to travel better. Since they’re engineered to travel better, it sacrifices flavor instead.
You support your local community.
Shopping at local farmers markets means you are directly supporting your community. Another plus is building a community in your neighborhood. Most of the time, people who work in the markets live locally.
Your questions get answered.
Another great perk is being able to ask questions and get answers! Business owners are usually the ones at the tent, so they’ll know about their produce. Owners and farmers can answer questions about price and pesticides quickly rather than hearing no answer from a grocery store.
